So, yeah movies and television. All the audio and video digital glory of the American culture, mastered and rendered into tasty little chunks easily digested between commercial interruptions.
So, I started with digital acquisition of feature films back in ... 1996 +/- Very interesting little counter culture, let me tell you... They refer to themselves as a “scene,” it’s all rather ridiculous in my opinion. But, pragmatic beyond all else.
Toss a MG-35 in the mix (http://www.ewaggle.com/) for a little more detail. It’s a stand alone media player that plays media files off a hard drive that’s installed inside. Pretty nifty stuff.
Sometime over summer, I started to track down television series as well. Just things I don’t consistently get to watch cause of my schedule. A couple seasons of House and The Office, and collected the entire West Wing series. Actually, made custom DVD covers and all, never bothered printing them though...
